Tuition-Based Pre-K3 Program: UPDATE

Exciting News for the Badger Nation! 🦡🎉 

We are thrilled to announce that Merkel ISD is expanding our early childhood offerings by opening a tuition-based Pre-K3 program for the upcoming school year!

As we prepare to launch, we want to ensure our own dedicated staff members have the first opportunity to take advantage of this program. Therefore, we will be prioritizing the acceptance of staff members' children for enrollment slots.

🔍 Key Details & Requirements

Tuition: $400 per month.

Age Requirement: Students must be 3 years old by September 1, 2026.

Readiness: All enrolled children must be fully potty trained.

Attendance & Expectations: This is a structured educational program, not a drop-in daycare service. Students will follow the same attendance rules and daily expectations as our Pre-K4 through 12th-grade students.

Curriculum: The program will utilize the same high-quality curriculum as our current 3-4 Head Start program to ensure strong foundational learning.
