Merkel ISD School Board Election 2025 Information

The Merkel ISD School Board Election is scheduled for May 3, 2025. This year, there are two positions with expiring terms:

Place 3 (Currently held by Kerry Fryar)
Place 4 (Currently held by Christian Clyburn)

You can file an application to be placed on the ballot starting Wednesday, January 15, 2025. For more information about the application process, please contact the school administration office. The deadline to submit your application is Friday, February 14, 2025, by 5:00 p.m.

Office hours are from 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday to Thursday. On Friday, February 14, the office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
