GMail (Google Mail) for MISD Staff and Students

Merkel ISD is a Google Apps for Education (GAFE) district.
Partnering with Google allows us to save time and money by using professional hosted systems through Google.  

To access the Google systems, including your school email, simply login at gmail.com  or    mail.merkelisd.net

When logging into Google / GMail, please use your ENTIRE school email address as the "userid."   For example, if your email address is GTeacher@merkelisd.net, your login  at gmail.com would be GTeacher@merkelisd.net  (not just GTeacher).

About "Groups" in the new Google e-mail:
- You can create PERSONAL groups using the Groups link on the LEFT of your e-mail/contacts screen
- System groups are visible under the TOP "Groups" heading (Mail/Calendar/...Groups)
- To see ALL system groups, click "Browse All Groups"
