May 26, 2020 Remote Meeting of the Merkel ISD Board of Trustees


Pursuant to Governor Abbott’s Temporary Suspension of Open Meetings Laws issued on March 16, 2020, and consistent with new state and local mandates, the Merkel ISD Board of Trustees will conduct a Regular Board of Trustees Meeting at 6:30 PM on May 26, 2020. This meeting will be conducted via the Google Meet/Hangout platform, which may be audible and/or visible to the Board and public. A quorum of the Board of Trustees may or may not be physically present at one location, and we will not be permitting in-person attendance by members of the public and or staff. A recording of the meeting will be available for viewing following the meeting.

If you wish to address the Merkel ISD Board of Trustees in public comment at the May 26, 2020 meeting, please complete and submit the form available here:
Comments submitted and received by 4:00 PM on May 26, 2020, will be available to the Board for review and consideration prior to the meeting.
